What Assets Does Ledger Stax Support?

The Ledger Stax supports the same suite of assets and DeFi products as the Ledger Nano X and Ledger Nano S Plus. This means it is currently compatible with over 5,000 coins and tokens directly through the Ledger Live app. The wallet is also compatible with Ethereum and Polygon based NFTs, allowing users to use their NFTs as screencovers for their touchscreen device.

Ledger Stax vs Ledger Nano X and S

Outside of user experience and product design, there are no fundamental differences between the new Ledger Stax and the Ledger Nano X and S. The products all support the same around of crypto assets, DeFi protocols and NFTs.

The key difference between the Ledger Stax and the other Ledger products is pricing. The Ledger Stax is currently priced at $279US, which is significantly higher than the Ledger Nano S Plus for example which is $79 and effectively offers the same functionality.

That said, if you are a daily yield farmer and DeFi user, it does seem that the Ledger Stax will save a lot of time and offers a smoother experience for handling all of those contract approvals and the many transaction executions required to claim yield from farms.
